I heard that so many times when my kids were little, but I didn’t fully understand it until I paused and looked back at how much life has changed over the years.
I started taking photography seriously when my twins, Sadie and James, were born—and now they’re adults. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been behind the camera for nearly 20 years. Somewhere along the way, this became more than just a job. I truly love what I do, and I feel so lucky to work with families I get to watch grow and change over time.
Watching my own kids grow so quickly has reminded me how important it is to not only live in these moments, but to preserve them in a meaningful way. Not just on a phone, but in a way you can hold onto, revisit, and pass down.
