Yorba Linda Family Portraits

When Lauren reached out to me about updating their family portraits, I knew we had to meet at my favorite park! This local park in Yorba Linda is just gorgeous – and this session done during golden hour gave us some truly beautiful rays of sunshine. A photographer’s dream!! 

Lauren, Jim, Jordan, and Matthew are a photographer’s dream too! I’ve been working with this sweet family since Jordan and Mathew were really little. It’s been amazing to watch them grow up. They’re so fun now! Just wait until you see the portraits of them goofing around – we really do have a great time! Every year, we work together to choose a color palette for the family’s session. We decided on a coral and aqua scheme this year – and I just LOVE how springy it feels! 

Throughout our full sessions, I like to take time to really photograph each member of the family. We spend a good amount of time on the entire group, but it’s important to me to photograph Lauren and Jim with each of their kids too. There’s always something really special about taking the time to let each parent interact with their babies (even if they’re grown up!). As a mom myself, I know how special these moments are and I want to make sure my clients get that chance too, to freeze these moments in time with each of their kids! Theirs turned out so well this year!!
